First things first
A long, long, long, long time ago I also wanted to believe in all the ads telling me that there is only one most important thing in the business that will get me to success!
The only problem was that everybody said that it is a different thing. So if somebody was a specialist in marketing and selling then they said that selling skills are my ticket to success. If somebody was a mindset expert, said that without mindset I can do nothing and that mindset will solve all my problems.
Well, I am a specialist in pricing and financial planning and helping to increase the level of profit by recalculating the business and…
… and I can tell you that yes. It is extremely important that without the right pricing strategies and financial planning you can generate loss even if you have high revenue but…
THIS is not the only thing you need to be successful.
So yes, once I also was on a search for the Graal that will solve my problems and ensure prosperity.
And guess what? I have never found it although I wanted to believe that it exists.
But you know what? Although I have never found it, it appeared (To my biggest surprise of course) that I can be successful without it!
Of course, I don’t want to say that I reached a point in which I accomplished everything I wanted. Well, you know that the more you have the more you want. So during the last 10 years, my business goals transformed vastly: from being able to support my family to creating an 8 figure profit business – which is my current goal.
But what I want to share with you here is my discovery! We all know about it but don’t want to believe in it. We still want to believe that there is something like a golden bullet that will take me to where I want to be in no time. The magic wand that will solve all my business problems and I will live happily ever after.
But the ugly truth is that to be successful you need to synchronise the power of a few keys to success. Not one, a few!
Want it or not, this is the truth and you know it!
You just need to take care of your business when it comes to the business model, business strategy (including marketing selling). In other words, you need to take care of everything that will be needed to create the product or service and deliver it successfully to your clients.
But this is not all of it!
You need to take care of yourself and your environment. You need to take care of your mindset, emotions, spirit. And last, but not least, you have to take care of your body. By that, I mean not only exercising, but taking care of releasing stress and tension from your body, and food that will give it the energy.
You need to take care of your physical environment and social environment and all relationships you are in.
Why? Because each of the above-mentioned factors may stop you or make your effort useless. If you are an entrepreneur all those little gears need to move together like in an old fashion clock. The smoother they spin the better results you will have.
The only problem is that getting all these gears working on will cost you! It will cost your time, energy, effort and Money.
And this is your task to calculate your business in such a way that it can bear all the costs. It is your job to include all the investment costs that you will need to develop yourself and your business in the cost unit of your product/service.
So summing it up we have here 2 conclusions:
First, calculating is important and sooner or later it will get you – just don’t neglect it!!
Second, success consists of several keys and you need to work on all of them!
So yes, I will concentrate mainly on finances and figures in your business. However, don’t let yourself believe that there is only one thing you need to do to be a successful entrepreneur with a prosperous company -It is a lie.
